 I ended up loading the following dependency files manually: libcxx;
 libffi; llvm_select; llvm-3.8; cctools; gmp; isl; ld64-latest; mpfr;
 ifeffit.
 Finally, I was able to install demeter.
 For gmp and ld64-latest, it did not work the first time so I had to clean
 the port and try again.
 So, the problem is solved.
