Comment:

 I don’t think this is a technical problem at all; it seems simple to
 rework mpbb to handle this safely. The actual question is whether we want
 to allow people to do this. Then: Why stop at pseudoports? Why not allow
 arbitrary `port(1)` expressions, including Boolean operators and grouping
 parentheses?
