 I just post the correct solution to this issue here if other people have
 the same problem (as it is still not fixed with port bacula 7.0.4)

 In the configure file search for "Unable to find Qt4 installation" and add
 the following two lines above the "abc=`$PKGCONFIG --atleast ...` part
 export QMAKE='/opt/local/libexec/qt4/bin/qmake'
 export PKG_CONFIG_PATH='/opt/local/libexec/qt4/lib/pkgconfig'

 Then you can run the normal build command in ports
