 I get `invalid command name "fetch.env-append"` when I try that. Looking
 at https://guide.macports.org/chunked/reference.phases.html it seems
 MacPorts only supports `configure.env-append`, `build.env-append` and
 `test.env-append`. Is there another way to add the environment variable to
 the git fetch phase?
