Comment:

 In the output provided, there was an attempt to use both [http://brew.sh
 brew] and [https://pip.pypa.io/en/stable/ pip].[[BR]]
 MacPorts does not support software installed in
 [https://trac.macports.org/wiki/FAQ#usrlocal /usr/local].[[BR]]
 It seems likely that somewhere along the line, dbus was installed without
 MacPorts, hence the problem.
