 Indeed the bug seems to be related to the Fortran interface of the
 CFITSIO, which is missing in the default variant of the corresponding
 port. Please try the following:

 {{{
 sudo port install cfitsio +gcc5
 sudo port clean gildas
 sudo port install gildas
 }}}

 and let me know if this solves the problem.
