 When building org-mode on OS X 10.6, emacs hangs indefinitely with 100%
 CPU use.

 This causes a buildbot build of all ports to abort prematurely when
 alphabetically reaching org-mode; see #49854. (The buildbot master kills
 the build if no output is seen for 20 minutes.)

 This problem was also [https://lists.gnu.org/archive/html/emacs-
 orgmode/2015-10/msg00755.html reported on the emacs-orgmode mailing list]
 by another user last year, with no response.

 If the hang cannot be corrected, please modify the port so that it errors
 out in pre-fetch on 10.6 rather than hanging indefinitely.
