 I'm not sure where these executable renamings came from; afaik there was a
 time in the past when it was not an issue. Which is why I've been slow to
 see the problems I guess.

 I haven't looked at the commit history but I just reinstalled
 p5.22-sgmlspm yesterday and did not see this particular issue.

 Will look at the overall problem of sgmlspm and its interactions with
 docbook-utils this afternoon and evening.
