 Thanks.

 Regarding the comment `# setting any arguments to ./configure will
 probably fail`, that probably means you need to adjust how the universal
 variant works as well, since by default it adds a configure argument.

 Regarding the string `${destroot}/${prefix}` which appears twice in the
 portfile, `${prefix}` already begins with a slash, so it is not correct to
 prefix it with another slash.
