Good to know! But as for restart from scratch - it would take days! This
will be my last resort.

Pretty sure I am. I'm using qt4-mac at 4.8.7_3. I tried upgrading it, but it
seems this is the latest version. Not sure about that prefix line you
mention and why it is not what you expect. Maybe because I installed
MacPorts a long time ago it uses older prefixes?
