 This is the same symptom as #44480, #44849, #45528, and #50054. The build
 fails due to the file /usr/bin/libiconv.la which is not under the control
 of the port build system. Have not discovered where /usr/bin/libiconv.la
 comes from, but get rid of it and the port will build successfully.

 Aside from building a check for that library and a warning message into
 the port (??), I'm not sure what we could do about the problem but
 suggestions are welcome.
