 OK; sorry about that. My Makefile-foo isn't as strong as it could be. Try
 switching that line to the following:
 {{{
           $(SED) -e 's/-arch *-/-/g' -e 's/-arch *$$//g' > $@
 }}}

 When I intentionally introduce the types of -arch issues that qmake
 sometimes creates into the file, this line removes them. Hopefully it'll
 do the same for you. Again: fix the patch file then clean before building.
