 That would be nice and tidy, but the transmission port focuses on building
 a modern OSX application.  Right now transmission-x11 builds in the more
 generic POSIX environment without packaging the Mac app.  Hence,
 transmission-x11 works on Leopard/ppc while transmission will not.  I
 looked at it, but combining the ports was beyond my confidence.
