 The annoying thing with qmake is that it's such a hassle to get it to use
 a different compiler on OS X; I haven't managed to import macports-
 clang-3.7 . However, when I compile just the failing file with that
 compiler it works fine.

 You don't happen to have a VM with older OS X/Xcode versions around?
