#51822: Trying to use it to load Virtualbox and it doesn't seem to work

 So, I've used the .pkg file to install Macports and everything seemed
 successful. But I noticed some things when I tried to following statement:

 {{{
 sudo port install libidl +universal doxygen texlive texlive-latex-extra
 texlive-fonts-extra cdrtools
 }}}

 it gave me the following error

 {{{
 Error: Port libidl not found
 }}}

 I figured I'd give the software update a try so I tried:

 {{{
 port -v selfupdate
 }}}

 and got the following errors:

 {{{

 I don't know how to check for the ports using the terminal (I'm a n00b.)
 But I believe that maybe macports isn't running or running properly on my
 mac.

 OS: 10..11.5
 MacPorts (as below): 2.3.4
 Processor: 2.93 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo
 Memory: 4GB 1067 MHz DDR3
