 The cotvnc web site says it has been superseded by a new fork called
 chicken:

 https://sourceforge.net/projects/chicken/

 It might be good to update the cotvnc port to chicken version 2.2b2.
 chicken 2.2b2 is old, from 2011, but it's newer than cotvnc 2.0b4 which is
 from 2006.

 Normally if a project changes names, we would rename the port (as when
 osxvnc changed its name to vineserver). However, we already have a port
 called chicken for an unrelated software package. So we could either
 continue to call the port cotvnc, or pick something new like chickenvnc.
