 geode-M2 is available now under Homebrew, so I wanted to get a macports
 release out.  Yes, it is pure java.  I am not sure how far away we are
 from the 1.0 release.  We plan to cut a release for M3 this month or next.
 Also, I had a request from our Apache mentor to call the package 'apache-
 geode' rather than just 'geode', but that didn't seem to follow what
 macports has done with the other Apache projects (Maven, Tomcat, etc.).
