 I'd currently recommend including the `-devel` suffix since it isn't a
 stable release.

 Once the stable release occurs, perhaps either:
  * the `-devel` Portfile can be `replaced_by` stable Portfile (`-devel`
 version is no longer is used), or
  * `-devel` version becomes a subport of the stable Portfile (where both
 are defined in the same Portfile).
