Comment:

 Two questions (please bear in mind that I didn't try to investigate
 anything into details):
 * Does clang work (say, clang 3.4 or newer)? At least on 10.6 (as noted in
 #51359 there are problems on 10.5).
 * Would it be possible to achieve the same with the help of the compilers
 PortGroup (`compilers-1.0.tcl`)? I admit that I don't fully understand how
 the PortGroup works, but I'm sure there are others who could help.
