 Hi,

 The version of Irssi we have in MacPorts is rather old now!! Version
 0.8.17 was released in Oct 2014...

 Version 0.8.19 is now available and has some nice features integrated -
 such as native support for SASL and a host of other fixes and
 improvements. See

 An update to make the new version available via MacPorts would be much
 appreciated!
