Comment:

 There's been some issues with this in the past but the latest stable
 release (not yet committed to MacPorts) has a number of fixes for python3
 and I'm testing that now.  At issue, currently, is the interaction of
 gobject-introspection with webkit2-gtk and whether both ports will be
 happy using python3 (and which versions thereof).  Will update as I gain
 some confidence with the issue.  Thanks for the nudge.
