New description:

 I have just installed MyPaint for Mac OS but the application will not
 open.

 I am running Mac OS 10.11.4 on an iMac with Xcode 7.2.

 I installed MyPaint version 1.2.0.

 There were no error messages.

 Steps that I took:
 1. Installed MyPaint application to Mac.
 1. MyPaint application was successfully installed via MacPorts into my
 Applications folder.
 1. Clicked the MyPaint application, it began to bounce in the dock but the
 program did not open.
 1. After a couple of bounces MyPaint eventually closed itself and the
 application icon disappeared from the dock.
 1. I tried to reopen MyPaint and got the same results each time.

 Thank you for your help with this issue.
