 Yes I use internet under college proxy. But I was able to update ports
 till last month.
 Last month I updated and upgraded macports and only after that I am not
 able to update them.

 Though, even now, under same proxy server I am able to upgrade them but
 not update.

 I have modified /opt/local/etc/macports/macports.conf file to work under
 firewall or proxy.

 Suddenly it stopped updating
