 Whoever needs this bug to be fixed ... please push the upstream. They
 haven't looked into the problem for 4 years:
 * http://trac.wxwidgets.org/ticket/14605

 I'm closing this ticket as "UPSTREAM ISSUE" where there's nothing we can
 do unless the upstream developers fix the problem and it's not looking too
 optimistic.
