 Interesting to hear that someone else has the exact same problem. The
 `port fetch` is still failing for me as well. I've tried the Git debug
 environment variables by modifying line 436 of
 `/opt/local/libexec/macports/lib/port1.0/portfetch.tcl`, but even
 `GIT_SSL_NO_VERIFY=1` didn't make a difference.
