 after upgrade to xfig 3.2.5c problem seems solved; however, upon quitting
 xfig (and x11), the following message appears:

 xfig3.2.5c: X error trapped - error message follows:
 192
 Request code: X_GetMotionEvents
 xfig: Figure is empty or not modified - exiting without saving.

 Although the program exist with a segmentation fault error, changes in the
 xfig and exported files were saved. So far, this error message has no
 further consequences for me.
