 This port provides the VLC backend for Phonon, the Qt4 and Qt5 versions.

 The VLC backend is generally preferred over the gstreamer backend, and
 carries the (one day...) promise of providing Qt-based applications access
 to individual audio devices rather than to the global/default CoreAudio
 device ("AUHAL").
