I've recently upgraded my Qt and PyQt from 5.5 to 5.6, and
Spyder3.0.0beta2+qt5 will no longer load but exits with the following
error:

I deactivated Qt/PyQt5.6 and went back to 5.5.1_1, and Spyder3+Qt5 works
just fine again, so it appears that this is some sort of incompatibility
with Qt5.6. This only affects the +qt5 variant, as the regular qt4
version also loads without issue. I'm on Yosemite with xcode 7.2.1.
