 No, there’s no way to do this without modifying the portfile.

 That said, `git` does not have `kerberos5` as a dependency. Are you trying
 to install `git +svn`? That requires `subversion`, which requires `cyrus-
 sasl2`, which has a default `+kerberos` variant.
