 Hi, this is a new iMac with el Capitan. When I call gnuplot I get the
 following:
 {{{
 dyld: Library not loaded: /opt/local/lib/libreadline.6.dylib
   Referenced from: /usr/local/bin/gnuplot
   Reason: no suitable image found.  Did find:
         /opt/local/lib/libreadline.6.dylib: mach-o, but wrong architecture
 Trace/BPT trap
 }}}

 I tried to solve the problem with the following steps:

 1. install the most recent version of MacPorts
 2. sudo port selfupdate
 3. sudo port upgrade outdated   -> nothing to upgrade
 4. sudo port upgrade readline  --->  No broken files found.
 5. sudo port upgrade gnuplot  --->  No broken files found.

 but the problem persists.  I already searched for similar tickets but this
 didn't solve the problem. Please help,
 gnuplot is a critical tool for me. Thanks.
