 I've just run into the same problem here while trying to build hat.
 AFAIKT, hat is the only remaining dependent of hmake and it also depends
 on glib1 which is way out of date and on my list of ports to remove.

 At this point, since removal of these two haskell related ports appears
 not to be of any consequence to the rest of the haskell ports, does any
 one have any objections to my removing both of them?
