 Well, my `macports` user setting is to use my own username. I know the
 risks, but I think I discovered why I rarely ever saw those realised; the
 same reason for which the codesign app didn't find my signing certificate.
 MacPorts "base" sets the HOME variable to something safe, even if you're
 using an existing username as the macports user.

 I just updated the code signing PortGroup, I hope this discussion will
 draw some activity to that ticket.
