 Hah, all I had to do was uninstall lldb-3.8, restart `taskgated` (`sudo
 killall -1 taskgated`) and reinstall lldb-3.8 . That took care of kernel
 certificate caching.

 I must say I am running taskgated with the -p option, so it's still
 possible that YMMV.
