 It's fairly trivial to add a "multiarch" variant which builds gdb for all
 supported architectures, thereby allowing a single gdb to work for both
 native and cross debugging.  This is also a way out of the binutils
 conflict mess.

 One slight disadvantage with this approach, at least for ARM, is that it
 supports multiple variants of ARM executable which it doesn't know how to
 distinguish among, so you need to specify the architecture explicitly.
