 All ports that are in the haskell-platform Portfile provide the versions
 shipped by Haskell Platform and should be left as-is (or updated together
 with Haskell Platform; I have a local patch to do that).

 You can provide separate copies of those libraries, e.g. as a hs-split-0.2
 port.
