 A given port may have dependencies and dependents.

 MacPorts supports two actions: "deps" (which queries for dependencies) and
 "dependents".

 Given that the shorthand "deps" is ambiguous (it could easily mean either
 dependencies or dependents), it would be reasonable to support the action
 "dependencies" as an alias for "deps".

 This would be a backwards-compatible change, but would remove the need for
 the user to guess which dep* action is meant by "deps".  The same change
 should be made for rdeps/rdependencies.
