 Hi everyone at macports

 I'm trying to get a tiger machine upgraded,
 to the most recent versions on macports.

 This is not for the faint of the heart.
 I fully understand why this is not supported.

 But it might be nice anyway,
 to have a basic set of binaries to start with.

 Maybe we can make a 10.4 binary repository from the community?

 Tiger was such a reliable unix to work with.
 I rebooted after 2, then 3 and then 4 years (just to reboot)

 We should give that old machines some care and feeding.
