 Based on what I see in the ticket I guess it's about some combination of
 an upstream bug and some setting that you use locally rather than
 something that has anything to do with packaging and I doubt it is related
 to macports update in any way. I'm not too eager to start debugging
 gnuplot itself. Please ping when the upstream finds the solution.
