 I've bee trying that. The problem is that on macos Sierra, the latest
 version of Java (1.8.0_121) installs to {{{/Library/Internet Plug-
 Ins/JavaAppletPlugin.plugin/Contents/Home/bin}}}

 Not to {{{Library/Java/JavaVirtualMachines/<JDK VERSION
 HERE>/Contents/Home/}}} like every example I have come across.

 Either Hadoop/Ant can't run on Java 1.6 or neither of them can find Java
 1.8 because they don't know where to look. I think it's both. Any help
 would be really appreciated.

 1.8 is not even in the list when I type
