 To be honest I haven't been giving kdenlive much love recently, nor have I
 been upgrading other KF5 ports "religiously" (except for my workhorse,
 KDevelop). port:kf5-kdenlive is at version 16.12.0, which worked quite
 well in the very limited testing I gave it. IIRC a fix has been released
 for an OpenGL threading issue I reported.

 Apart from that we're still working towards introducing qt5-kde and then
 the frameworks, and that turns out to be the kind of stop-motion (mostly
 stopped, sometimes bursts of motion and not always in the direction I'd
 like) experience I feared it would be.
