 Ah, sorry to hear that didn't work.  This looks like it might take some
 digging, then.

 I don't want to keep guessing and wasting your time, but the first thing
 that comes to mind to me is that you might need to use one of the newer
 macports compilers as well, something like clang-3.7, adding
 `configure.compiler=macports-clang-3.7` to the previous build line.
