 Interesting. Well, at least the LaTeX & DVIPS issues seem to be solved.
 Let me do the same update & see what happens. There's something still
 missing ... just takes patience & perseverance to figure it out! In the
 meantime, can you either cut-and-paste or attach a file with the contents
 of "port installed"; that might be useful.
