Comment:

 It's failing because it's trying to use libnet 1.1, with which it is not
 compatible. It builds fine with libnet 1.0. The dependency needs to be
 switched from a lib:-style dependency, which has been deprecated for
 years, to a port:-style dependency to ensure the correct port gets used.
