revision; is your emacs Portfile locally modified? Either way, you should
be able to fix the problem by uninstalling emacs.
Yes, that modified package, to allow GNU Emacs to use local init files and
calendar, was indeed the culprit. Port was too fast upgrading so that I
chose that version number.
Everything is working fine now. The ticket can be closed. Thank you!
