Comment:

 As far as I can tell, doxygen does not use libpaper or getopt, so
 installing those ports should have no effect on building doxygen.

 Nobody ever attached a main.log showing what the problem was.

 It's possible this was #50986. (Ports with lots of dependencies (like
 gnuradio) fail to build; installing some dependencies manually first fixes
 it.)
