 as said, it build correct on Tiger (i did install first Mplayer, then
 Ffmpeg),
 the problem is with Leopard > i can’t either install Ffmpeg nor Mplayer at
 the moment;
 i will see if i can install with this bootstrap variant on imac g5 leopard
 and report back;

 can’t help myself but i still like the old g5 machines better for some
 unknown reasons, i guess. the newer machines are faster, but overall
 experience and productivity seems better to me on the powerpc machines. i
 am planning to buy an imac dual core though as upgrade ; this i am writing
 from a Mac Pro but compared to the Powermac G5 it seems a poor boy to me.
