 upon installing x48 via macports, I found the calculator working properly
 via keyboard.
 However, tapping on the calculator keys requires actual clicking (press
 the pad that is).
 Tapping doesn't work.

 It seems there is a problem communicating with the trackpad driver.

 The Author:  Eddie C. Dost <ecd at dressler.de seems no longer to be around.

 Anyway, the port is very useful already :)
