 The current version of port freeciv (and related port freeciv-x11) is
 2.5.6. I don't have the skills to write the updated Portfile myself.

 If it's helpful to write a separate ticket for freeciv-x11, as distinct
 from freeciv, I can do that.

 I don't see any maintainer listed for these ports.
