 Hello Mihai,

 thank you very much / today i could install lubuntu i386 alongside
 snowleopard on the macbook pro 1.1 and i am very pleased with result |
 interestingly the sound via alsa is so much better than on osx really very
 surprising and i was able to install mpv using this guide here
 https://nyxi.eu/compiling-mpv-on-debian.html#compiling-mpv-on-debian
 now youtube-viewer also fully functional
 this is actually the first time that i found a laptop that has nice sound
 output via linux, after i was quite shocked how sound output was on the
 same machine in osx /when compared to my older powerbook g4 1,67 15inch.
