 Joshua, maybe we should be more proactive and persistent requesting that
 feature.

 It also makes a difference in whether a bunch of macports admins keep
 asking about this than if a "random user who wants more rights" asks.

 The problem is that those who have most influence are not affected. The
 tickets are link against have been open for ages. I doubt that the team
 will work on them unless people keep asking about them.
